Chrysler is lending a helping hand in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy

Chrysler donates 20 1500 RAM Tradesman trucks and $100,000 to American Red Cross for Superstorm Sandy relief

To assist the American Red Cross with rescue efforts during aftermath of Superstorm Sandy, Chryslers Ram truck brand has made a donation of $100,000 and 20 1500 Ram trucks to help aid this process. With help received from its partners in many other circles and through influx of funds received from Ram Trucks, the American Red Cross is responding to pleas of people by providing shelter, food and medical aid wherever necessary.

Ram Truck brand and Weather Channel Companies have signed a partnership with non profit organization First Response Team of America to provide services during times of man made and national calamities. Ram Tradesman trucks will be used to distribute rescue supplies to people and will be permanently included within its fleet.

New York an New Jersey were the most affected by Sandy's wrath and efforts to bring supplies like shelter, medical aid and food supplies will be carried out using these trucks. In order to donate funds for this rescue effort, one can log onto Red Cross's online site or even text to make a $10 donation.
